At the center of the Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe, there is a castle modeled after a real one in Denmark called the “Nixe Castle”. This is the main exhibit of the aquarium, and many sea creatures thrive within the walls of the castle. Outside of the wall is where dolphins, sea lions, and fur seals reside occasionally hosting wonderful shows for visitors to see.

Tropical fish await you at the Crystal Tower
At the entrance hall of the castle, featured is an 8 meter tall Crystal Tower exhibit tank. Here, many warm-water fish including the humphead wrasse swim freely, creating a vibrant and beautiful scene to begin your journey in.
Feel the proximity to life with the penguin walks and touching pool
At the touching pool, you will be able to touch rarer things such as sharks and horseshoe crabs. Penguin walks are regularly occurring, giving you a chance to see them up close!
The Goldfish Kaleidoscope exhibit might fool you into thinking you’re one too!
The Goldfish Kaleidoscope exhibit is a new exhibit that was just created in 2017. With enough space to fit few, one will be able to experience being literally surrounded by all sorts of goldfish. As the experience literally feels as if you are in a “kaleidoscope”, it makes one feel as if they have also joined in on the pack of goldfish!
The reptile/amphibian house exhibits are also very popular!
Proud home of the world’s biggest snake species, the Giant Anaconda is the reptile/amphibian house. Did you know that the females are actually larger than the males? Handmade signs by the staff will have interesting facts to learn about the creatures within! At this aquarium, endangered species have been cared for to ensure their wellbeing and protection from poachers and smugglers.
