At this aquarium, one of the exhibits features an electric eel experiment for power generation. You might just be lucky enough to see the moment an eel sparks off! There are plenty of other attractions to pass the time as well such as the seal performances and the fish dancing around in their exhibits!

Available to anyone above middle school is the behind the scenes program! In this exclusive experience you will be able to see an aquarist’s day to day tasks and secrets of the aquarium. You will even get to chat with them to find out more about the creatures that flourish in the exhibits! There is a daily participation limit, however, so make sure that you check online first!
Excellent location, close by the airport
This aquarium is located conveniently by a station that can be reached by a train line directly connected to the airport! It is also connected to Sapporo Station on a single train line as well. Hokkaido is the largest prefecture, which makes travel a bit lengthy at times but because of its location and the fact that the exhibits are indoors makes it a great place to go to year round. Being a part of a mall means you can also enjoy shopping and food close by. If you ever travel to Hokkaido, it’s the place to be!
