The world’s first touch panel fish tank
In the ‘Magical Ground’ area on the first floor is an exhibition that harnesses the latest technology to enhance the charm of the living creatures on display. Touch or swipe on the tank to reveal descriptions of the fish, quizzes and more. It’s a true delight for aquarium lovers!
The dolphin show is the highlight!
‘The stadium’ (featured on the poster) is the location of this aquarium’s hugely successful dolphin performances. The dynamic movement of the dolphin is set to music and combined with lighting in a way that is sure to impress. There is an evening version of the show to allow visitors to enjoy the performance at night on their way home from work. There is also a ‘Water Curtain’ show which does not feature dolphins but is very popular nonetheless.
Experience rainforest survival in the ‘Aqua Jungle’
In the Aqua Jungle you can find displays of pirarucu fish, rays, reptiles and more. Here you can get up close to many living creatures that inhabit our rainforests. There are even capybara (native to South America). Staring into their lazy eyes will make you forget you are in the middle of the city!
Relax with the fish in the stylish Coral Cafe
The café tables have built-in tanks to allow you to admire beautiful and rare fish while you enjoy a drink. This is a stylish experience that will appeal to fish lovers and everyone else, too. The lighting is wonderful and there are other tanks to view, too. It seems like a good place to linger while admiring the pretty fish.
There is also feeding time!
Visit ‘Wild Street’ to hear the staff’s commentary as they feed the penguins, seals, fur seals and otters. This attraction is always very popular!
